What will I learn?
This is introductory class with Ashlie teaches the fundamentals of hand sewing, learning home machines, and reading commercial paper patterns. By the end of the class, you will have a basic understanding of hand sewing, sewing tools, machine stitching, fabric knowledge, and paper patterns. You will also have the start of your own Sewing Portfolio.

Hands on projects – Skirt, Drawstring bag with patches / Embroidery

How often and how long last each class? - Twice a week, 2.5 hours each class.

Do I have to bring fabric for my projects – Yes?

• One 3-ring binder,
• Plastic sleeves for the binder
• Basic sewing kit
• Pen and note paper or notebook for notes
• HOME MACHINE- Bring your machine if you have one. If you do not own one we will provide one for you. If you want to purchase one (recommended) - The SINGER HEAVY DUTY 4452 OR 4411 Is highly recommended
• 4 yards of Muslin fabric

Cancellation Policy: 72 hours’ notice to cancel your enrollment in the class. Once the class has started, we can no longer offer refunds.
All classes will be recorded. If you miss a class or need to practice at home you may request the recording.
