3. Hand Stitching , Sew on a Button by Hand ,
4. Hands-on Activity – Pincushion Sewing
5. Show & Tell + Clean Up (10–15 mins) – Encourage sharing & responsibility

“Beginner Sewing Machine Skills”

Class Length: 120 minutes
Focus: Introduction to Machine Sewing

Focus: Basic machine sewing, patterns, creative skills

 Class Structure (120 min):

1. Intro & Recap – What did we learn last time? Show examples
2. New Skill Demo – Threading machine, bobbin threading straight stitch, zig-zag , button holes ,
3. Hands-on Project  – Scrunchie
4. Wrap-up– Talk about next steps, show progress, clean up

Class Length: 120 – 180 minutes

Focus: Pattern use, finishing techniques, fashion projects

  Class Structure (120 – 180 min):

1. Project Planning – Sketch or plan what they’re sewing
2. Technique Practice– French seam, darts, hems
3. Project Work Time– Machine sewing, measuring, ironing
4. Peer Review & Feedback – Build confidence and learning
